Author Guidelines

Authors wishing to publish in the Aurum Académico Multidisciplinary Journal en Educación must submit their manuscripts via email to aurumacademico@gmail.com or through the journal's submission system. Only original works that are not under simultaneous review in other scientific publications will be accepted.

The journal accepts publications in Spanish and English, provided that at least one of the authors is a native speaker or the text has been translated by a professional.

Manuscript format and structure

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), using Garamond font, size 12, with 1.15 line spacing. Paper size must be A4.

Manuscript structure:

  • Length: between 11 and 20 pages (3500 to 8000 words).

  • Title: in both Spanish and English, with a maximum of 15 words.

  • Author information: include email address, ORCID identifier (e.g., https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2237-7613), and institutional affiliation.

  • Abstract: in Spanish and English, with a maximum of 240 words.

  • Keywords: three to five, in both languages, separated by commas.

  • Main body for research articles: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. For other types of articles: Development and Conclusions.

Additional aspects:

  • Pagination: pages must be numbered in the center of the footer.

  • Tables and figures: should be numbered in order of appearance. Titles go above each table or figure. Figures must be submitted in .jpg or .png format, with a maximum width of 10 cm and a maximum file size of 100 KB.

  • Footnotes: numbered with Arabic numerals and no longer than 60 words.

  • Appendices: must be cited in the text and placed at the end of the document.

Citations and references

Citations and references must follow APA style, 7th edition. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references. A minimum of 15 references is required, preferably from the last five years, prioritizing articles indexed in Scopus or SciELO. References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript with a hanging indent.

Examples:

  • Book: Lastname, A. A. (Year). Book title. Publisher.

  • Journal article: Lastname, A. A. (Year). Article title. Journal Name, volume(issue), xx–xx.

Plagiarism policy

The editorial board uses specialized software to detect similarities with other publications and ensure the originality of submitted works.

Privacy statement

The names and email addresses provided to the journal will be used exclusively for editorial purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Original Research Articles

This section publishes original articles derived from unpublished scientific research that provide relevant and verifiable findings in the field of educational sciences, including pedagogy, didactics, educational innovation, teacher education, learning technologies, assessment, inclusion, educational management, and related disciplines. Manuscripts must present a rigorous academic structure including an introduction, theoretical framework, clearly described methodology, results supported by empirical or documentary evidence, critical discussion, and relevant conclusions. Particular consideration will be given to studies that promote interdisciplinary approaches and contribute to the advancement of educational knowledge and innovation at both national and international levels. All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process, ensuring scientific quality, originality, thematic relevance, and compliance with international ethical standards in research and academic publishing.

Original Research Articles

This section publishes brief scientific communications presenting preliminary findings, research progress, methodological developments, or relevant discoveries in the field of educational sciences that, due to their concise nature, do not require the length of a full original research article. Manuscripts must clearly present the research problem, the methodology employed, and the main results obtained, ensuring scientific rigor and argumentative coherence. Innovative contributions that provide meaningful information or evidence for the academic and educational community will be particularly valued. All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process, ensuring academic quality, thematic relevance, and compliance with international ethical standards.

Privacy Statement

The identity of authors and their contributions will be protected by the Editorial Team and the Scientific Committee of Aurum Académico Multidisciplinary Journal in Education (AAMJE) in the event that a manuscript is not accepted for publication.

Manuscripts under evaluation will not be shared or disclosed until, if accepted, they are formally published. The information contained in submitted manuscripts will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be used for personal purposes or for any purpose unrelated to the editorial process.

The personal data of authors, members of the Editorial and Scientific Committees, and external reviewers entered into this journal will be used exclusively for the academic and editorial purposes declared by Aurum Académico Multidisciplinary Journal in Education. Under no circumstances will such information be provided to third parties or used for purposes other than those established in the journal's editorial policies.
